Hang Steady provides the best framing experience you'll ever have.  I've gone there to get multiple art prints and original pieces framed and have always been blown away by the final product.

Besides their skilled craftsmanship and passion, Andria and Andrew's easy-going nature make the process super fun whether you come in with an idea in mind or open to anything. My first time there I asked a lot of questions about framing and they answered them all with professionalism and thoughtfulness.  They also take great care and precaution in handling the art you need framed.

Don't hesitate to give them a try, my search for finding my go-to framers has ended because of Hang Steady.

It doesn't get any better than this place. Andrew and Andria run an incredible operation at Hang Steady. The process starts with a very thorough consultation, then a swift return timeline and the eventual pick up of the project. I can honestly say that after 3 projects with Hang Steady, the process and work gets better each and every time! I won't get anything framed anywhere else thanks to the stellar service that these beautiful people provide! It made me out 5 but I give them 10!

Go to Andria and Andrew at Hang Steady for all of your custom framing needs! They took great care (and excitement) in framing two handmade Korean paper kites that I had been holding to for a while. The experience very relaxed and fun. Though you can tell they are skilled, they are not presumptuous and happily talk through their process and ask questions to make sure they mix their expertise with what you want for your piece. I had two handmade Korea paper kites that have been collecting dust, and I didn't know how much care and thinking would have to go into mounting them. This proved no issue for them but I loved how they utilized the natural holes where the kite strings were and thought through the places where they could mount (cannot even see where this work is done, completely invisible to me!). They also suggested some color in the side of the frame to go with the colors of the frame and it was exactly the slightly modern, bold edge to go with the beautiful natural frame. I also would not have thought this was important, but their shop is also so cute/hip and tasteful so I immediately felt at ease that I could trust their instincts or suggestions for any piece of art (contemporary or more classic).  They will suggest different options that could work with your budget, but just keep in mind this is a place to get special custom frame work done so the prices are not a Hobby Lobby kind of thing. I will absolutely be returning to them for all of my special pieces!

I have had several pieces of art framed at Hang Steady and I’m so happy and so impressed by the finished product but equally so with the process and overall client experience. I love booking appointments online, which ensures undivided attention upon arrival. You are greeted by a lovely, bright, warm and comfortable studio space and a dynamic duo, husband-wife team, Andrew and Andria, who are a pleasure to spend time. They are passionate, super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The approach to selecting the right frame is thoughtful and collaborative. There are endless choices but expert guidance is offered by Andrew and Andria. I also happen to love the Zbar hanger systems being used in these beautiful frames. If you are looking for the highest level of care and a wonderful experience, look no further. Hang steady is simply the best.

The husband and wife duo at Hang Steady are the best in the biz! Andrew and Andria are kind, knowledgeable, great listeners, and have exceptional attention to detail. I brought two pieces in with no concrete idea of what I wanted and the team was thoughtful in helping me decide on how best to emphasize both prints. I have since moved out of the area and tried another framer and was sorely disappointed in the creativity and customer service department. I will definitely make the trip back to town to work with these two again!

Hang Steady is the most wonderful find in custom framing. Andria and Andrew are extremely skilled and fun to work with.  I brought in a vintage Hermes scarf and the thought and care that went into the framing made this piece into an exquisite piece of art.

We worked together for over an hour picking the perfect frame, making sure that it could structurally support the work (it is quite large) and aesthetically fit the piece. Andrew and Andria we also extremely helpful in suggesting ways to line the interior of the frame for a polished and seamless look.

Then there was the skill in invisibly attaching the scarf to the matting so that it lays perfectly and the integrity of the textile is maintained.

I can also say that for the attention, time and quality workmanship that went into this project the pricing was more than fair.

I could not be happier, and can't wait to bring in another project to frame.

I've been to Hang Steady multiple times for framing some very important art. They "nailed it" every time, and they finished the projects early, as well.

They work by appointment, which is especially convenient because you're not waiting around for other customers to stop talking about their pets, or whatever social humans talk about.

Plus, I love the thing they use for mounting the pieces on the wall so that it's always even. Thank you, guys!

Andrew and Andria Eden do a stellar job. Over the last few years, I have enlisted them to frame or mount many photos, artworks (including needlework), paintings and even a clay sculpture that my daughter created as a wee child. They are problem solvers of the highest order, have a great sense of color and dimension...and are two of the nicest people you would ever wish to meet. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

A & A have framed so many pieces for us over the last couple of years, and we won't ever go anywhere else. They go far beyond the basics of a typical framing shop and work with care, passion, and an artist's eye to create beautiful & creative framing that brings the piece to life. They love what they do, and it shows.

As an artist, I exclusively work with Hang Steady. Andrew and Andria are wonderful business owners and have framed over twenty pieces for me and my collectors. Their work is exquisite, and both go above and beyond to help the customer elevate their art. The design process is collaborative, and Andrew and Andria understand how to create the best product for their customer's needs. My pieces are genuinely enhanced by their craftsmanship and technique.

Swing by your local frame shop for a level of perfectionism that would make a museum art curator proud.  Andrew and Andria are not only two of the most genuine and kind people we know, they are also totally dedicated to their craft and incredibly talented.  Andria's eye for color and material will help guide you towards elevating your piece.  Andrew expertly handles logistics while flipping the vinyls in shop to keep the vibe just right during your private appointment.  We found their store through YELP and were so happy with their work that we keep going back.  We have gotten a total of 18 pieces framed by them at this point and each on is unique and treasured in our home.

I've worked with Andria and Andrew several times and will definitely be back. They make the process of choosing a frame such a fun experience. They also have a wide variety of unique frames that you can't find elsewhere. They can seriously turn anything into a work of art. All in all, this is the best experience I've EVER had with framing and I couldn't recommend them enough.

Hang Steady is not your usual strip mall frame store, and even making the comparison feels a little strange. One part artist and one part consultant, the husband and wife team don't just frame your art, they elevate it. I've actually brought items in to be framed, just to see what they could do with it.

Here you get an opportunity to infuse the piece with your personality or whatever you might want to bring to it, no matter how simple or intricate.

I'm always presented with several options to accommodate budget, while never being pushy or compromising on the vision. They can frame your family photos or geek out with you on conservation-grade glass.

Try them once and you won't want to go anywhere else.

I wish there were 5 more stars. I'd recommend Andria & Andrew to any and everyone who'd listen. They're both as kind, thoughtful, and skilled as they come. My entire experience, from beginning to end, was first class. The finished piece inspires me in ways I can't describe. Looking forward to working with them on many more projects.

My wife and I have been back to Hang Steady several times for additional framing now. We have a nice little gallery wall going in our living room, and lots of framed pieces around the house.

They have been great at working with us on a variety of projects with different budgets. We have some cheaper stuff that they were able to accommodate at a great price, and we have some big pieces that they really worked with us to deliver something special on.

Highest possible level of recommendation for this place. They've really helped to make a lot of different art a special part of our home.

Hang Steady (witty name!) is a fabulous, amazing "find" to be sure!  This is by far the best framing store I've ever used.  I had four pieces I wanted framed, and the power team of Andrew and Andria (who are a married couple) worked with me until I found the frames that best brought out the beauty of the artwork.  They spent a good amount of time, gave me unwavering attention, were fun and kind and patient and sweet, and we ended up with wonderful results.  They also use a brand new modern hanging hardware that obviates the need for wall anchors and drills - just my style.  They have a huge choice of frames, which are carefully categorized according to price.  Since I was uncertain, they guided me, giving me their opinion when I asked, and advised me on the best value.

So honest, so forthright, so clear, with no sales pitch, pressure, or "tactics."  LOVE this couple!

So...there are some businesses that do good work, and you are happy.  And then there are those few ones that are SO good, you wish you had reasons/opportunities to use them over and over again.  Hang Steady falls into the latter category.  I live in the neighborhood, and wanted to support a local business, so I brought over a couple of items that needed frames.  Forget local.  After seeing their work, I would drive twenty miles to have them do my framing (which in Los Angeles, means an hour drive, so that's how rhapsodic I was).  Andrew and Andria are amazingly nice, totally professional, and have incredible taste.  If you need anything framed, take it to them, you won't be disappointed.

I don't typically write reviews, but felt compelled to do so this time for Hang Steady because these guys are ROCK STARS. From the moment you walk into their Bohemian styled, straight out of a magazine decorated shop, you are welcomed by Andria and Andrew who have a friendly, attentive yet patient attitude, and immediately you know you are in the right place. This is the kind of place you can entrust your most precious art to. I've been to some shops in LA that weren't very organized and clean... I felt there's a chance my artwork gets lost in the mess or nibbled on by a little Ratatouille. Over the years I've had framing done by many local frame shops that I thought were good until I found Hang Steady ---night and day people, night and day. "When you know better, you do better" and Hang Steady is better. The framing Hang Steady did for me is so good, I am now considering having the framing done by other shops redone by Hang Steady. Andria and Andrew's craftsmanship and unique designs are exceptional; they have the most creative minds in the framing space that I have seen. I double dog dare you to give them a shot at framing your art work. Learn from my mistakes; don't waste your time and money trying other places, go to Hang Steady, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Hang Steady for existing, you have my business for life.

I've been carrying around a beautiful rolled painting for the last 10 years, afraid to frame it because it was too good to ruin with the wrong frame. I've never found anyone I could trust to do it justice until I found Andria and Andrew. We had a great time imagining frame color, depth, size and matting to perfectly suit the piece. They were so patient with me and the shop is set up so you can really test out the different looks - hundreds of frames, a rainbow of mats and a magnet wall so you can see it all come together. I'm so happy with how it turned out!Thank you Hang Steady for a perfect focal point for my living room!!! (The pics don't do all the colors justice - they matched the blue gray of the painting edge and pink detailing in the frame 🙂

Hang Steady framed two posters that my husband and I purchased over 20 years ago, and that carry memories of a place and time meaningful to both of us. All of the services are provided directly by the husband and wife owners, and their customer service and framing expertise will blow your mind. Andria's inspired design sensibilities led us to frames and finishes that I never would have spotted on my own, and that perfectly complement and enhance the art. Their care and attention to detail is evident in every step of the process, from the choice of frame, to the glass (no more glare!), to the mounting, to the picture hangers (they use a type of hanger that I had never seen before, and that was *so* much easier to use than the usual wire-on-the-back-of-the frame and nail method). Andrew and Andria are also extremely patient and kind - I never once felt rushed during the design and decision-making stage, and they never once made me feel like I was taking up too much of their time, even though I monopolized a good chunk of their afternoon. I could not wait to get the posters back, and the final product surpassed all of my expectations, looking even better than I had imagined!! From beginning to end, Hang Steady did a fabulous job, and I cannot say enough good things about this business.

I have a really cool screen print that I wanted to be framed fun and modern for my son's room. I looked all over for something unique and nothing was really speaking to me. I was introduced to, Hang Steady by a family member and they TOTALLY GOT ME! They think out of the box and have a wide range of skill and framing styles to choose from so they can fit any persons framing needs. I felt comfortable using, Hang Steady because they are actual people (a wife-husband team) with impeccable style and warm personalities too. You won't find me sending any artwork off to over-commercialized or on-line frame shops anymore. This mom and pop studio is where it's at!!

We recently had a couple of our cherished pieces framed at Hang Steady. We couldn't be happier! We immediately hung them in our living room and they pop in a big way. Everyone who has visited since we hung these has commented immediately. Not knowing much about framing or frame design we found the folks at Hang Steady to be great guides. Andria has an amazing eye for design and brings a creative flair that I'd not seen before. She was very communicative throughout the process and walked us through each step. The shop is warm, professional and comfortable. Andrew and Andria really took the time to educate us on the process and I was excited to learn about framing. We felt right at home in the shop and would whole-heartedly recommend their services. We'll be back at Hang Steady in the near future!!
